Delete Your Account
Last updated: 13 September 2026 · Version 1.0
You can close your PayzoPlus account at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what Payzoplus Global Private Limited is required by law to keep.
How to close your account
From the app, which is the fastest route and needs nothing from us:
- Open the Payzoplus app and sign in.
- Go to More → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Close account.
- Read what will be deleted and what will be kept, then enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
The account closes immediately. You are signed out on every device and cannot sign in again.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@payzoplus.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Account closure. Include the registered business name and the registered mobile number so we can be sure it is you — we will ask for more if those do not match, and we will not close an account on an email alone.
We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete the closure within 7 working days of confirming your identity.
What is deleted
Permanently overwritten, not hidden. Once this is done we cannot recover it, and neither can you:
- Your name, email address, phone number and postal address
- Your password and any two-factor secret — the login itself stops existing
- The details of your directors, partners and beneficial owners, including names, dates of birth, PAN and addresses
- Your business email, website and trading name
- Your settlement bank account number and IFSC or SWIFT code
What is kept, and why
Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Indian law requires a regulated business to keep them for a period after the customer relationship ends. From the moment your account closes you can no longer see or download any of this, and it is not used for anything other than meeting those obligations and answering a lawful request from a regulator or a court.
- Transaction records — your invoices, the payments received against them, your payouts and deposits, and the FIRCs and payment advices drawn from them. Required under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and the rules made under it, and under the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 and the RBI directions on export realisation.
- Identity and verification records — the documents you provided for KYC and KYB, and the record that they were checked. Required under the same money-laundering rules, which treat records of client identity separately from records of transactions.
- Tax records — invoices and related filings, under the Income-tax Act, 1961 and the GST law.
Before you can close
Closing is blocked while money of yours is still moving, because the closure removes the bank details a payment would need to reach you. You will be told which of these applies:
- A payout is on its way to your bank and has not settled
- An invoice has been part-paid and not yet settled
- There is a balance in any currency in your account
- You are holding a locked exchange rate — these expire within the hour
- You have an active receiving account. Write to support@payzoplus.com and we will close it for you first.
Buyers and counterparties
The buyers you invoiced are named on those invoices, so their details are kept with the invoice for as long as the invoice is kept. They are not yours to delete and not ours to delete on your behalf — an export record without the party it was raised against is not a record a regulator can use. If a buyer wants their own data removed, they may write to us directly at grievance@payzoplus.com.
Coming back
A closed account cannot be reopened. You are welcome to open a new one — the email address, phone number and username from the closed account are released and may be used again — but it starts as a new account and goes through verification from the beginning. The records from the closed account are not connected to it.
Questions
On closure or anything on this page, write to support@payzoplus.com. If you are not satisfied with the answer, our Grievance Redressal Policy sets out how to escalate. Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with your data while your account is open.
